Stephen Colbert Plans To Write Off Dressage Lessons As Business Expense In 2012 Taxes
The Road Apple has recently learned that Stephen Colbert has given receipts for his recent dressage lessons to his tax accountant. He is intending to write off the lessons with dressage trainer Michael Barisone as a business expense. A tax accountant contacted by the Road Apple indicated that this would not be a good move. "Because of the current political climate, dressage enthusiasts and other multimillionaires are under increased scrutiny when they try to claim their horse-prancing activities as a business expense."
